Abstract

This document contains runtime components for use with applications developed with the IBM XL Fortran for Linux, V13.1 compiler.

Download Description

If you wish to run an application developed using the IBM XL Fortran for Linux, V13.1 compiler, but do not have the corresponding version of compiler or runtime already installed, then you need to install the Runtime Environment package.

Note: Depending on the application, in addition to the Runtime Environment package, you may also need to install the Addons package. The Addons package contains files that may be required by some third-party applications. Only download and install the Addons package if instructed by your application provider.

Prerequisites

Operating system:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5 (RHEL 5.5)
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 2 (SLES 10 SP2)
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Service Pack 1 (SLES 11 SP1)

The IBM XL Fortran Runtime for Linux, V13.1 is not supported as a stand-alone product.

If you suspect a problem with this Fortran Runtime Environment while using it with a third-party application, contact your application provider for support.

Full support (installation, defect support, and general questions) for this Fortran Runtime Environment is available as part of the software maintainance agreement for the XL Fortran Compilers.
