  • During a compare/merge in IDA the following error is encountered
:

An EMF error occured while merging resources:
java.lang.NullPointerException. See error for detail

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • The MoveDeleteConflictStrategy on compare merge side failed
to handle the move delta at model root level.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fixed in release RSx 7.5.5.

Skip the check for root level move delta because The delete
delta can not conflict with the move to root target.
