Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS AL ADDCOL function
  created ALTER INDEX ADD COLUMN syntax which fails with a
  SQLCODE = -20181, ERROR:  COLUMN CANNOT BE ADDED TO INDEX
  

Local fix

• Use the AL/RDEF function to add the column to the index

  When the index is a partitioning index and index-based
  partitioning is being used, adding a column to this type
  of index directly via a SQL statement will result in a
  SQLCODE=-20181/SQLCODEN20181 error.
  

Problem conclusion

• Panel ADB21XA has been modified to hide the 'ADDCOL'
  command for an index on panel ADB21XA, which is a type 2
  index, and has one or more than one partition.
