PK97547: ABEND0C1 DURING /ERE, IMS RESTART, DUE TO A 4 BYTE OVERLAY IN MODULE DFSQRST0.

Error description

• An abend0C1 occurred during restart due to an overlay of the
  code in DFSQRST0. This overlay was in a subroutine, PENQ34A6,
  that only gets executed while processing a type35 log record
  for a conversational message. The last log type 35 log record
  for a conversational message that was processed before the
  abending one, contained the overlay data in its prior message
  DRRN field.
  This is a sysroute of PK95791 in IMS V9.

  The ABEND0C1 occurred due to the execution of an overlaid
  instruction in DFSQRST0.  The code got overlaid when the restart
  processed a TYPE35 log record for a re-enqueued conversational
  message, input from APPC.  Processing the log record, the
  restart branched to obtain a TIB CCB anchor address.  REG 14 was
  changed from the address of the message to the address of the
  next instruction, but not restored after the return from the
  branch.  The current message had also been chained to a prior
  message.  When restart attempted to chain them too it overlaid
  the instruction with the DRRN of the prior message.
  
  Subsequently in the restart, when another TYPE35 log record was
  processed (logged for a conversational message input from an
  LTERM), the execution went to exercise the overlaid code so that
  caused the ABEND0C1.
  

Problem conclusion
