PK98302 resolves the following problem:

ERROR DESCRIPTION:
VMM_JDBC_CLASSPATH currently must contain a '\' IF ';' is used as path separator and must contain a "/" IF ":" is used as path separator. The desired behavior is that the variable uses the system's path separator, independent of the usage of \ or /.

PROBLEM SUMMARY

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server V6.1 and V7.0

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
VMM_JDBC_CLASSPATH has to contain \ on Microsoft Windows and / on Unix operating systems

RECOMMENDATION:
None

VMM_JDBC_CLASSPATH curently must contain a '\' IF ';' is used as path separator and must contain a "/" IF ":" is used as path separator. The desired behavior is that the variable uses the system's path separator, independent of the usage of \ or /.

PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
The problem has been fixed to use the system's path separator.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix packs 6.1.0.31 and 7.0.0.9. Refer to the Recommended Fixes page for delivery information:
