PK91622 resolves the following problem:

ERROR DESCRIPTION:
Based on APAR PK90755,EJBDeploy encounters PackageNotFoundException when dbm file contains diagram data

LOCAL FIX:
NONE

PROBLEM SUMMARY

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server v7.0 EJBDeploy.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
EJBDeploy encounters a PackageNotFoundException if the CMP backend database model file (dbm) contains diagram information.

RECOMMENDATION:
None

Rational Application Developer generates a database model file (dbm) that contains the declaration:

xmlns:datanotation="http:///datanotation.ecore"

The WebSphere Application Server EJBDeploy tool does not handle the format of a physical data model file that contains this information as it will fail with the following error message:

org.eclipse.emf.ecore.resource.impl.ResourceSetImpl$1DiagnosticW
rappedException:
org.eclipse.emf.ecore.xmi.PackageNotFoundException: Package
with uri 'http:///datanotation.ecore' not found.

PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
The plug-in com.ibm.datatools.datanotation which is part of a Rational Application Developer install was not included in the WebSphere Application Server EJBDeploy install.

The fix for this APAR is to include the missing plugin and is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.7. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information:
