Error description
Type5703 log record created by DB Quiesce has wrong data in DBURUSID and DBURE_TIME_A. DBURUSID and DBURE_TIME_A need to have USID and ALLOC timestamp of previous ALLOC record which was deallocated by QUIESCE command. This 5703 log record is created in DBFDBQ50. DBFBDQ50 sets DBURUSID from DQEUSID via DMACUSID, DBURE_TIME_A from DQEALTM. DQEUSID and DQEALTM are set by DSPDBQ40, but these are USID and ALLOC time of new ALLOC.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: ALL IMS V11 USERS OF THE DATABASE * * QUIESCE FUNCTION THAT HAVE DEDB * * DATABASES * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: THE TYPE5703 LOG RECORD CREATED * * BY DB QUIESCE HAS THE WRONG * * DATA IN THE USID AND ALLOC TIMESTAMP * * FIELDS (DBURUSID AND DBURE_TIME_A) * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: INSTALL CORRECTIVE SERVICE FOR APAR/PTF * **************************************************************** THE USID AND ALLOC TIME FIELDS IN THE 5703 LOG RECORD NEED TO HAVE USID AND ALLOC TIMESTAMP FROM THE PREVIOUS ALLOC WHICH WAS DEALLOCATED BY THE QUIESCE COMMAND. DBFDBQQ50 MOVES IN THE NEW ALLOC USID AND ALLOC TIME INSTEAD OF THE PREVIOUS USID AND ALLOC TIMESTAMP.
Problem conclusion
GEN: KEYWORDS: *** END IMS KEYWORDS *** CODE CHANGED IN THE FOLLOWING MODULES: DBFDBQ50: IN THE LOG5703 ROUTINE, THE ALLOC TIME IS GOTTEN FROM DMACALLT. THE NEW ALLOC TIME IS THEN SAVED INTO DMACALLT FOR THE NEXT TIME. THE NEW USID IS SAVED IN THE DMACUSID FIELD AFTER THE 5703 IS LOGGED. DBFLBEU0: THE ALLOC TIME IS SAVED IN THE DMAC. THERE IS AN EXISTING FIELD (DMACALLT) WHICH IS USED TO SAVE THE ALLOC TIME WHEN THE AREA IS OPENED.
