Rational DOORS Fix Pack 5 (9.3.0.5) for 9.3

APAR status

• Closed as Permanent restriction.

Error description

• Naming of views does not allow trailing/preceding white-spaces
  whereas all other items in database can have such space.
  However, isValid() perm shows the name containing spaces as
  valid, which can be mis-leading.

  As reported other DOORS item allow user to have leading and
  trailing space where as it was not allowed for view name.
  
  When user specify view name with leading/trailing spaces,
  DOOR UI was reporting it as invalid view name where as
  isValid was considering this as valid view name.
  

Problem conclusion

• This APAR fix will allow user to have leading and trailing
  spaces for view name, we are still considering only white
  space as invalid name (same as other DOORS item).
