PM46705: IBM SPSS STATISTICS 20: CANNOT PRODUCE PRINTED OUTPUT IN VIEWER FROM PYTHON SCRIPT AND ERRORS DO NOT APPEAR

Error description

• You are using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 with Python Integration
  PlugIn for release 20 installed.
  In Statistics 20 you run a Python script with PRINT like the
  example below:
  
  import SpssClient
  SpssClient.StartClient()
  print "I'm not an autoscript"
  SpssSyntaxDoc=SpssClient.NewSyntaxDoc()
  SpssClient.StopClient()
  
  However, when you run this script the script itself executes, as
  can be seen by the appearance of a new syntax window, but no
  output is printed.
  Furthermore, if the script has an error, "No error" appears in
  the Viewer, but the actual error from the script is not printed.
  You can see this by adding, say, SpssClient.RunSyntax("show
  dir") to the script.
  
   This issue was reported to IBM SPSS Development.
