Error description

  • When an extension is installed via wsadmin without
setting up the resource references for the wab inside the
extension, the result is JEE can't populate the resource
reference bindings and the java:comp namespace can't be set up
correctly. This then ends in a NullPointerException which is
    not very helpful:

The NullPointerException occurs when an OSGi application
extension has been installed via wsadmin but the user has not
configured the resource references for web application bundles
within the extension. As a result of the install JEE cannot
populate the resource reference bindings and the java:comp
namespace is not set up correctly.
