Summary


IBM Kenexa LCMS Premier on Cloud has addressed a vulnerability that could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by deserialization of untrusted data in DiskFileItem class of the FileUpload library. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code under the context of the current process.

DESCRIPTION:
Apache Commons FileUpload, as used in Novell NetIQ Sentinel and other products, could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by deserialization of untrusted data in DiskFileItem class of the FileUpload library. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code under the context of the current process.

Remediation/Fixes

This issue has been addressed in IBM Kenexa LCMS Premier 11.2 latest Fix level

Customers who are using an affected version should visit IBM Support Portal and open a Service Request (SR) to request an upgrade to latest fixed release.
