Escaping backslash doesn't work in IBM security Guardium when used in query condition

Troubleshooting

Problem

Per v10 help book : https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSMPHH_10.0.0/com.ibm.gu… To correctly escape a backslash character for use in a query condition, use four backslash characters. For example, to specify domain\user you would enter domain\\\\user. But when you try to use backslashes as per documented you face below error : "Invalid query - Invalid query. Input fields can not have special characters such as single quote , backslash , if it is an integer or SUM field can not have double quote or semicolon either"

Symptom

You will see below error when you try to add DB user names in query condition.
