APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Temporary files are created in a wrong directory when the
  environment variable STM_TMP_DIR is used and the path contains a
  dot.
  sample:
  set STM_TMP_DIR=c:\documents and settings\ron.user.ext\local
  settings\temp
  The temporary files are created in the folder before the dot,
  this means in c:\documents and settings.
  Problem is when this root directory c:\documents and settings
  has no write permission. An external editor for example Notepad
  does not open because the temp file cannot be created and file
  import/export does not work.
