Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS ALC command does not
  create the "Optional steps after redefinition:" "Run RUNSTATS"
  utility step when a table was dropped and created.

  *                 on panel ADB27A 'DB2 Admin ALTER'.           *

  The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS ALC command does not create
  the RUNSTATS utility step when the table was dropped and
  recreated and the 'Run RUNSTATS' option was set to 'YES' on
  panel ADB27A.
  

Problem conclusion

• Program has been modified to generate the RUNSTATS utility step
  correctly. Additionally, this APAR also fixes the following
  problem:
  
  When the table being altered is added to the alter session by
  issuing the 'ADD' command on panel ADB27C 'Alter Table',
  ALC chooses the action DROP-SC, however the change can be
  performed via an ALTER.
