SWIFT Alliance Gateway Remote API 7.2 limitation with B2B Sterling Integrator

Problem

To provide support of SWIFT Alliance Gateway Remote API 7.2 ,a new version of MEFG has been released with Sterling Integrator GA iFix 5.2.6.3_3. We discovered that on Windows 2016, the SWIFT Alliance Remote File Handler, which is a component of SWIFT Alliance Gateway Remote API, is not issuing call back messages to MEFG, which are necessary to update the file transfer status of SWIFTNet FileAct Put messages. We have created a defect with SWIFT regarding this issue. IBM has verified that this functionality is working correctly on the other supported MEFG platforms, and also verified that it is working correctly on Windows 2008. Full support of MEFG using SWIFT Alliance Gateway Remote API 7.2 will be limited to Solaris, AIX and Linux, until the issue is resolve. This Technical Note will be updated when more information is received from SWIFT.
