Error description

• This APAR will address the following:
  - ABEND878-014 in module IZTBTTD0 at IMS restart.
    This error occurs when PROCLIB member TTDimsid
    contains only comment or null records.
  - Batch update utility (IZTUD1U0) was incorrectly receiving
    MSGIZT7198W ** RECORD NOT FOUND" on a ZG control statement.
  - Batch update utility (IZTUD1U0) was incorrectly receiving
    MSGIZT7160W -- LTERM DOES NOT EXIST when concurrent
    ZL DELETE control statements specify LTERM names belonging to
    different NODE/USER records.
  - IZTRAN option B.3 turned off flags set in option B.4.
  - When Batch update utility (IZTUD1U0) was used to
    create the SLU2 device default record, but not all
    options were specified for DFS3649 and DFS3650,
    invalid options could be used during logon/signon.
  - IZTRAN option T.6 contained invalid information when
    there was no LU 6.1 device global record specified.

  1. Abend S878-014 in module IZTBTTD0 at IMS restart.
  This error occurs when PROCLIB member TTDimsid
  contains only comment or null records.
  2. Batch update utility (IZTUD1U0) was incorrectly receiving
  message "IZT7198W ** RECORD NOT FOUND" on a ZG control statement
  3. Batch update utility (IZTUD1U0) was incorrectly receiving
  message "IZT7160W -- LTERM DOES NOT EXIST" when concurrent
  ZL DELETE control statements specify LTERM names belonging to
  different NODE/USER records
  4. IZTRAN option B.3 turned off flags set in option B.4.
  5. When Batch update utility (IZTUD1U0) was used to
  create the SLU2 device default record, but not all
  options were specified for DFS3649 and DFS3650,
  invalid options could be used during logon/signon.
  6. IZTRAN option T.6 contained invalid information when

Problem conclusion

• The following cahnges have been made for the above issues:
  1. IZTBTTD0 was corrected to prevent the S878-014 abend
  even when PROCLIB member TTDimsid contained only null
  or comment records.
  2. Corrected various errors in the ETO Support batch update
  utility (IZTUD1U0).
  3. IZTDUPD0 was corrected to not regress changes made on other
  panels.
  4. IZTLKUP0 was corrected to display valid data when LU 6.1
  device global record is not present
