Error description

  • Problem Description :
    When unconfigure data collector from the Oracle Application
     Server, JVM options: MaxPermSize, Xms and Xmx are left
     unchanged.
    
     During configuration this parameters are set to values
     XX:MaxPermSize=128.Xms128M, Xmx512M, but only if they don't
     have previous values.
     XX:MaxPermSize is set only for Sun and HP JVMs.
    
     During DC deconfiguration this values have to be removed, only
     if they was changed during configuration to ITCAM default
     values.  If this values was changed to other values after DC
     configuration, we don't remove them.
    
    Keyword/Symptom:
     XX:MaxPermSize=128. Xms128M, Xmx512M left after ITCAMfJ2
     deconfiguration.

Problem conclusion

  • After deconfiguration some JVM options are not removed by ITCAM
    deconfigurator. The expected behaviour is to clean up  all
    modifcications done by ITCAM during configuraion process.

    fix pack 6.1.0-TIV-ITCAMfJ2EE_MP-FP0006
