APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When click on the 'preview' button for a custom report, AppScan
    Source reports the following error:
    
    'Generating preview' has encountered a problem: Null
    
    To reproduce the problem:
        a.  Open an assessment.
        b.  In the Findings view, highlight a few findings.
        c.  Open the Report Editor view.
        d.  Click the 'Create A New Report' button.
        e.  In the Report Editor, click the Categories tab.
        f.  Click the 'Create A New Findings Category' button.
        g.  Under the heading 'Findings', click the green + icon to
    add the finding that are highlighted in the Findings view (from
    step b).
        h.  Click the 'Save' button to save a copy of the report.
        i.  Close the Report Editor view, so the report is closed.
        j.  Open the Report Editor view.
        k.  Click the 'Open A Saved Report' button.
        l.  In the Report Editor, click the Preview tab.
        m  Click the 'Preview' button and the problem should be
    reproduced.
