Error description

  • ABEND u0047 will occur when datasets used in the DRF master

Restrictive Documentation Update for DRF publication (SC18-9407)
This Documentation APAR outlines the MVS restrictions on
hard-coding database DD names within the DRF MAS, and the
subsequent allocation failure in the SAS.

Problem conclusion

  • Restrictive Documentation Update. All Users of DRF should be
aware of the restrictions concerning hard-coding database dd
names in any step in the MAS. This will lead to allocation
failures in the SAS, when recovering the databases.
