APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The mapping that is being attempted is not valid and should not
be getting through the Mapping Editor's validation code. The
member 05 IN-STREET is not an elementary array, and therefore it
cannot be mapped to the elementary (leaf) array ?streets?

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The Mapping Editor validation logic does not detect an
incompatible mapping when these two conditions are true: 1.) the
two items being mapped have different hierarchical shapes and
2.) one item is an array and the other is not.

Problem conclusion

  • The Mapping Editor validation logic was corrected.
