Error description

  • When using FM/DB2 to view a table, and message 'Large table mode
    - initial fetch of nn rows' is received, the following occurs:
    if users max down and then max back up through the table data,
    then scroll through the data, extra rows of the original data
    are displayed.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In File Manager DB2 component edit with *
    *                      large table support (Row count = 0),    *
    *                      additional rows are displayed after     *
    *                      scroll operations and/or the row number *
    *                      shown in the prefix area is incorrect.  *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The problem occurs after the sequence:
    1.  Max scroll to the bottom of the table
    2.  Max scroll to the top of the table
    3.  Scroll down past the end of the table.
    Internally, the row number count is not being saved correctly
    after a max scroll operation.
    

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager has been updated to correct the problem.
