  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Update asset fails to copy over any     *
  *                      changes to files in the META-INF        *
  *                      directory of deployed assets.           *

  The META-INF directory is copied during deployment of an asset
  into a business-level application (BLA).  This directory is not
  copied during update asset calls, and hence the changes made
  in the asset are not reflected onto to the deployed application.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 1.0.1.11 of WebSphere Application Server v7 Feature
  Pack for Service Component Architecture (SCA) Refresh Pack.

Temporary fix

• Delete any deployed Composition Units using this asset, and
  delete the asset in question.  Import the updated asset and
  redeploy any composition units previously deleted.
