Troubleshooting
Problem
In Work Order Actuals, Regular Hours are calculated incorrectly for shifts during which British Summer Time (BST) begins or ends. During BST, day light savings (DST) is observed. In 2017, BST starts 26 March at 1 am and clocks are turned forward 1 hour (i.e. to 2 am). In 2017, BST ends 29 October at 2 am and clocks are turned back 1 hour (i.e. to 1 am).
Symptom
The regular hours are consequently calculated incorrectly for shifts containing the beginning of BST (i.e. 26 March 2017, 1 am) or for shifts containing the end of BST (i.e. 29 October 2017, 2 am). For example, a shift of 01:00 AM to 04:00 AM on 26 March 2017 will result in regular hours being 2 instead of 3, because BST has begun which updates Start Time from 1 am to 2 am (i.e. the clocks are turned forward 1 hour).
