PM30244: LOGICAL UNLOAD GENERATES MESSAGES INZU025E AND INZU063I

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A logical unload with an SQL statement involving an expression
  such as cast_to_numeric_function(...SUBSTR(non_numerical_string)
  ...) where cast_to_numeric_function is one of the following
  scalar functions: BIGINT, INTEGER, SMALLINT, FLOAT, DECIMAL,
  DECFLOAT and non_numercial_string stands for a string which is
  not a representation of a numerical value, is not correctly
  processed.
  If native mode is requested (DB2 NO), the unload fails and ends
  with completion code 8 and msgINZU025E.
  If non-native mode is allowed (DB2 YES), the unload is
  successfull but is unduly processed via DB2 and ends with
  completion code 4 and msgINZU063I.
