Question & Answer
Question
Why does the title of the debug editor not match the source file I am debugging?
Cause
When you debug C/C++ applications in standard mode using IBM z/OS Debugger and use EQASRCE or EQA_DBG_SRCE to specify alternate location for source, the source is found but the name of the file in the debug editor shows the path to the location where the source was originally found.
Answer
Users should ignore the label for the debug editor, since source is successfully loaded from the alternately specified location.
This is a current limitation when debugging C/C++ applications using standard mode with IBM z/OS Debugger.
