Error description
AppScan crashes when AppScan browser is launched (ie. click 'Record' login sequence button or 'Manual Explore' button). Windows UI shows error dialog. It has not seen with AppScan Standard v7.9.x on Windows XP even with MS Office IME 2010. Currently, only confirmed on Japanese OS.

The workaround is to change the default language before launching the browser.
Problem conclusion
Based on the information we have it seems that this issue is due to a problem in either Office IME or in the OS.
