Error description
You are running an EXEC that initializes your ACCESS REGISTERs to X'FFFFFFFF'. Because the RS domain does not initialize the AR's to zero, an ALET-specification exception can occur because X'FFFFFFFF' is not a valid DATASPACE address Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): DFHRS0001 DFHKE0201 0E0 AKEB DFHRSXM DFHRSDU KIXREVRHC
Local fix
Do not run the IEAINITARSRB exec
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICSPlex SM V4R1M0 Users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: You have a CPSM WLM workload which * * is configured to communicate region's * * status information through a coupling * * facility data table (Sysplex Optimized * * Workload). Your MASes experience S0E0 * * (ASRB) abends in one or more of modules * * DFHRSDU, DFHRSSM, DFHRSSR, and DFHRSXM. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this * * APAR, all CMASes and MASes must be recycled * * to pick up the new code. Note that restarts * * do not need to be done at the same time. * **************************************************************** Subroutine copyrsb, called in several Region Status Domain modules to copy the contents of a MAS's Region Status Block to or from the WLM cache data space, does not initialize access registers used to address storage in the primary address space before attempting to copy the RSB. If one or more access regi- sters contain nonzero ALETs, abend S0E0 (ASRB) may result when accessing a copy of the RSB in storage in the primary address space.
Problem conclusion
Subroutine copyrsb was modified to save access register contents and initialize access registers to zero on input, and to reload the contents before returning.
