Unable to add SNMP object to Security Network Protection at firmware 5.3.3.2

Troubleshooting


Problem

When attempting to add an SNMP object to a policy on the Security Network Protection (XGS) sensor, you might receive a System Error indicating that the "value must be greater than or equal to 1."

Symptom

When adding an SNMP object in XGS policies, such as System Events, you might see the following error:

System Error
Inform Timeout: This value must be greater than or equal to 1.
SNMP Remote EngineID:value must be hexadecimal! string starting with 0x or 0x and must be between 7 and 32 characters in length.
