PM21463: ERROR IQC4017E RECEIVED WHEN BUILDING CERTAIN SELECT CONTROL STATEMENTS UNDER QCF ISPF PANELS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Using the QCF online ISPF interface to execute Option 2 - Query.
  Upon selecting lterms and putting a 'Y' in the INCLUDE field
  and entering additional parameters such as starttime and
  endtime, QCF builds the control cards correctly and returned
  correct output detinations. Thereafter, when attempting to
  execute Table_Actions Option 1 (copy all messages displayed in
  table), the following error occurs:
  IQC4017E Unknown KeyWord specified.
  It appears the starttime was dropped when QCF transitioned to
  the Table_Actions process.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Error IQC4017E is received when         *
  *                      building select control statemens with  *
  *                      startrime and endtime selection and     *
  *                      a request is done to list all messages  *
  *                      to a selected destination ( L or V line *
  *                      command for a listed destinations).     *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  If the user selects detailed messages display for messages
  with starttime or endtime parameter selection - the messages
  are displayed. Each line of the display shows messages to a
  specific destination, that met the specified selection.
  Then , if the user requests list of messages to a single
  destination - the control cards to get only messages to the
  destination that have the specified starttime or endtime
  are built wrong and the function fails.
  

Problem conclusion

• Install the fix to have correct secondary selection, if the
  primary selection is with starttime and/or endtime selection.
