Error description

• This APAR updates the IPIC protocol support provided by the CICS
  Transaction Gateway.

  The problems covered by this APAR are:
  
  1. IPCONN in CICS stuck in INS FRE state after TCPIP immediate
     close
  2. Using ECI Timeout with IPIC results in NullPointerException
  3. Flowing multiple prepare flows using IPIC causes XAER_RMERR
     error
  4. Purge of IPCONN causes NullPointerException in Gateway daemon
  5. OutOfMemory exception in Gateway daemon
  6. NullPointerException in Gateway after IPIC connection lost
  7. Time stamp in Origin Data uses daylight saving
  8. ECI Timeout not working correctly over IPIC
  9. Requests are not purged from CICS when a client disconnects
  10. Update to CICS TG User-Agent HTTP string for IPIC
  11. Update to IPIC session management
  12. IPIC cannot use a default port when set to 0 in
      configuration file
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS Transaction Gateway has been changed so that the reported
  problems do not occur.
