PM75032: LOG RECORDS COULD BE APPLIED IN THE WRONG ORDER AFTER ORF COPIED VSAM 12/10/24 PTF PECHANGE

Error description

• When ORF copies VSAM KSDS from the online database and there are
  online updates during the copy, ORF captures the update log
  records and applies them to the copied KSDS after the copy.
  The log records should be applied in the order of their
  timestamps, but they can possibly be applied in the wrong
  order because of a program error.

Problem conclusion

• This APAR makes the following changes.
   - The sort logic are fixed and the update log records are
    applied in the order of their timestamps
   - The error of PM73736 is fixed and the PROHIBIT AUTH flag is
    properly set during the takeover phase of non-HALDB
   - A problem in HISAM reorganization found during the test is
    fixed
