Error description
You use the WUI editor to build a custom CICS operational view of installed program definitions in your system, using the PROGRAM base table. You add JVMPROFILE, JVMSERVER or JVMCLASS as available fields to filter the results on. While you have defined programs with JVMPROFILE, JVMSERVER or JVMCLASS names that have mixed case values, the WUI folds these filters to upper case each time. . Additional Keywords/Symptoms. Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICSPlex SM V4R2M0 Users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: You use the WUI view editor to build * * a custom operational view to display * * installed program definitions in your * * MASes, from the PROGRAM resource table. * * You add attribute filters for JVMCLASS, * * JVMPROFILE, and JVMSERVER. While you * * have defined programs with JVMPROFILE, * * JVMSERVER, and JVMCLASS names that have * * mixed case values, the WUI folds target * * attribute values for JVMPROFILE and * * JVMSERVER to upper case. As a result * * it might not be possible to select, for * * viewing, resources with mixed case * * JVMPROFILE or JVMSERVER names. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this * * APAR, all CMASes must be recycled to pick * * up the new code. Note that regions do not * * need to be brought down and restarted at * * the same time. * **************************************************************** Attributes JVMPROFILE and JVMSERVER of the PROGRAM resource table were defined by default as having upper case only values. As a result, the Web User Interface folds the values for filters based on these attributes to upper case.
Problem conclusion
The property uppercase='no' was added to the definition of the JVMPROFILE and JVMSERVER attributes in the PROGRAM resource table.
