Problem summary

  • In Caching Proxy versions 8 and 8.5, setting the SSLV3 cipher
specs doesn't set the TLS1.x cipher specs. So there is no way to
specify the ciphers for TLS when it is enabled.

Problem conclusion

  • CP now uses the value specified in V3CipherSpecs for both
SSLV3 and TLSV1 ciphers, as it did prior to the upgrade
to GSKit8.
This problem is resolved in fix pack levels 8.0.0.5 and above
for 8.0 and fix pack levels 8.5.0.2 and above for 8.5.
