Error description

Application is using IBM Security Servlet for sign out.
/ibm_security_logout?logoutExitPage= . Application is passing a
JSP name in logoutExitPage parameter to that Servelet which
IBM security should redirect after performing Sign out
Operation.

But with Fix Pack 19, IBM security is ignoring
logoutExitPage parameter and not redirecting anywhere.

An application is using FormLogoutServelet for logging out
and passing a JSP name which takes an unique URL as
lgoutExitPage parameter. A sample URL is as follows:
/ibm_security_logout?logoutExitPage=/mylogout.jsp?myurl=http://m
ylogouturl.html
The FormLogoutServlet failed to validate the parameter and
is not redirecting to the specified URL.
The root cause of the issue is a logic of validating URL.

Problem conclusion

With this fix, the URL validation code was corrected.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.27, 8.0.0.5. 8.5.0.1.
