Guardium restore from TSM fails due to NODENAME in dsm.sys

Troubleshooting

Problem

When importing a dsm.sys file to an IBM Security Guardium unit, do not include the NODENAME parameter. In some cases this will cause a restore operation to fail.

Symptom

Archive works, restore of the same file fails with "invalid username" error.

Older versions (pre v9 GPU 500) did not recognize the NODENAME parameter, so this will likely only occur in later versions and may break after upgrading.
