Error description

  • There was a slow response on the MVS system. A dump of master
address space was taken. From the dump, it showed high paging
from the asid x'0004' TRACE address space. TRACE ran into the
lock contetion problem reported in closed APAR OA37996. The
abends caused the problem for TRACE were the repeated ABEND0C7
in the Omegamon address space. It occurred in KO2CTHIK at offset
0DA2 on the CVB instruction due to a bad TCPIP address.
It seemed the TCPIP address was overlaid by a byte of zero.
