Problem
Attempts to generate a document from IBM Rational DOORS using IBM Rational Publishing Engine (RPE) reports Publishing is taking longer than expected and the generation may fail.
Symptom
While the report is generating or during the Macro phase in MS word you may see the DOORS pop-up message:
Publishing is taking longer than expected.
Do you want to stop waiting for the publishing engine to complete?
