Summary

There are multiple vulnerabilities in WebSphere Liberty Profile that is used in IBM License Metric Tool v9 and IBM BigFix Inventory v9

Vulnerability Details

CVEID: CVE-2016-0359
DESCRIPTION: IBM WebSphere Application Server is vulnerable to HTTP response splitting attacks. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using specially-crafted URL to cause the server to return a split response, once the URL is clicked. This would allow the attacker to perform further attacks, such as Web cache poisoning, cross-site scripting, and possibly obtain sensitive information.

CVEID: CVE-2016-0385
DESCRIPTION: IBM WebSphere Application Server could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions caused by a buffer overflow. This could allow the attacker to view unauthorized data.
CVSS Base Score: 3.1
CVSS Temporal Score: See https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/112359 for the current score

CVEID: CVE-2016-5986
DESCRIPTION: IBM WebSphere Application Server and IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by the improper handling of responses under certain conditions. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain server identification information.
CVSS Base Score: 3.7
CVSS Temporal Score: See https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/116556 for the current score

CVEID: CVE-2015-7417
DESCRIPTION: IBM WebSphere Application Server is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a specially-crafted URL to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, once the URL is clicked. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
