APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In some cases, an S0C4 ABEND may occur in the target job when
processing DB2 logs. This error is most likely to occur if there
are more subtasks than there are datasets. The code has been
changed to ensure a log apply control block exists before
processing DB2 logs for the current page.

Local fix

  • Reduce the number of subtasks in use or turn off log apply.
