  Fixes a problem where "cleartool annotate" would incorrectly
  display a text file output if the text file did not have a
  new line character at the end of the file.
  The output from "cleartool annotate" would not be formatted
  correctly and would contain an oid value.  This fix resolves
  the issue so the result
  from "cleartool annotate" is displayed properly.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available in ClearCase versions 7.1.2.7 and 8.0.0.3
