Abstract

The purpose of this technote is to document the new support for the GFS/AFM tape management system and the new audit procedure for TMS, AKDAUDGF.

The information contained in this technote will be incorporated into the IBM Tivoli Advanced Audit User’s Guide in the next release.

PTF UI39512 will add support of the GFS/AFM Tape Management system to the IBM Tivoli Advanced Audit product. A new audit job named AKDAUDGF has been added to perform an audit between the AFMLIST extract and the HSM CDSs. Audit results are then displayed in the ISPF interface under menu option 4 HSMTAPE. Before executing the AKDAUDGF audit job you must customize the PROC in the SAKDJCL library. The following parameters must be edited and changed to point to the correct GFS/AFM libraries.
AFMLOAD= GFS/AFM load library
TOOLOAD= GFS/AFM Tool load library
AFMPARM= GFS/AFM Parmlib library
