Error description
Issue of WebSphere Application Server V8.0 Administrative console. The Read/Write timeout checkbox does not work correctly. The serverIOTimeout property of server.xml (master configuration) does not change correctly, if we change checkbox for not-checked. Saved changes are not reflected. This issue is recreatable and occurs even on WebSphere Application Server 8.0.0.2. Here is recreatable procedure. 1. Login to administrative console 2. Navigate Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers > server_name, and then, in the Additional Properties section, click Web server plug-in properties. 3. In Read/Write timeout section, default value 900 is displayed. 4. Change checkbox for not-checked. 5. Save changes to the master repository. 6. Navigate above step2 again. 7. Then, we will see that timeout value is 900 (not zero).
