Guardium STAP and GIM installation fail when installed using "sudo"

Problem

Guardium STAP and GIM installation fail when installed using "sudo". But it succeeds when installed as real root. Some of the errors can be: 1. Cannot create the required guardium user and group. 2. Cannot find common OS commands like ifconfig.
