Error description
When ATF Inflight records are read, IMS PA transaction queue entries are created for each "transaction" processed. A transaction entry will consist of several primary records with several chains of buffers containing the actual data entries. The buffers containing the data must be uniquely keyed or "cross-chaining" of entries can occur. At IMS PA EOF these buffers are released and the transaction entry deleted, when a second transaction tries to release one of these "cross-chained" buffers it will fail as the buffer address is no longer valid. Keywords: ABENDS0C4 S0C4 Note: It is okay to have this IMSPA maintenance on without having the OMEGAMON IF3 maintenance (OA36278) on. There is no adverse affect if this is the case. The reverse is not true though (if the OMEGAMON maintenance is on, for IMSPA support of IF3, this APAR must be on).

Problem conclusion
1. Re-work the randomiser for ATF buffer selection. 2. More comprehensive checking of buffers to ensure they are available for use.
