Error description

• The transaction dump data sets are allocated with DISP=MOD.
  At CICS startup an abend D37-04 occurs for the transaction dump
  data set DFHDMPA or DFHDMPB when it is opened.
  Later there is a transaction abend for which a transaction dump
  should be taken.  Immediately after the transaction abend there
  is an abend S0C6 in module DFHDUIO.

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed to correctly detect an END_OF_EXTENT
  condition after a D37-04 abend on opening the DFHDMPA or DFHDMPB
  data set and to then close the data set.
