    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The batch processing of an IMPORT *
    * command fails with error message *
    * CCV9060E when the CPID parameter is *
    *                      specified.                              *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The CCVBMAIN utility program is executed to perform batch IMPORT
    command processing. The IMPORT command includes the CPID
    parameter, but no other filter values. The utility fails RC=08
    and issues the error message CCV9060E "Filter values and CPID
    keywords mutually exclusive".

Problem conclusion

  • CICS Configuration Manager CCVBMAIN utility validation checks
    are corrected to issue the CCV9060E error only when the CPID
    parameter is used in conjunction with another filter value.
    In addition, error handling is improved if the IMPORT command
    specifies an undefined source or target CICS Configuration,
    or if CPID or filtering values result in no import data for
    processing. New error message CCV9405E is issued for these
    error cases.

    The following error message will be added to the CICS
    Configuration Manager User's Guide (GC34-2899-00):

    Appendix A: Messages and codes
    Topic:      Messages

    CCV9405E Configuration not found, or no data found for Import
                processing

                Explanation:
                  The Import command failed because a definition or
                  import data required to complete the request was
                  not found.  Possible causes include:

                  (1) The source or target CICS Configuration is
                      undefined;

                  (2) After filtering the Import file, no data
                      records were found for Import processing.

                System Action:
                  The CICS CM batch command interface run is
                  terminated.

                User Response:
                  Ensure the source and target CICS Configurations
                  for processing are defined. Verify that the
                  input file contains data records matching any
                  filtering criteria. Correct the Import command
                  input parameters, and rerun the job.
