Error description

  • Certain conversational messages are being selected when customer
    is running RECOVERDM with NOCONVMSG control card.  These are not
    MSC messages.

    *                      BEING REJECTED WITH  NOCONVMSG CONTROL  *
    *                      CARD UTILIZED ON SELECT                 *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    TMR segment is checked in messages prefix for 'response' type
    and all response messages are accepted, but the response
    messages should be accepted only if they are MSC when NOCONVMSG
    is set.
    With the new changes first MSC check is done and the message is
    accepted if it is not MSC and response type.
    If the message is MSC type - the SPA check is done to decide
    when NOCONVMSG is set. If SPA is present the message is accepted
    If there is no SPA- the message is rejected.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Install the APAR to have the changes.
