External partners cannot connect to the SFTP Server Adapter

Troubleshooting


Problem

One external trading partner significantly increased the frequency with which they connect to the SFTP Server Adapter, and stopped closing their sessions when finished. After that, other external partners cannot connect to the adapter.

Symptom

  • External trading partner connecting very frequently and stopped closing their sessions when finished
  • No new SFTP sessions show on the Communication Screen under Business Processes > Monitor > Advanced Search > Communication Sessions
  • "Max concurrent circuits reached: size is:4096" message shows in the perimeter.log file
