* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: On IBM Workload Deployer and IBM        *
*                      PureApplication System, the             *
*                      application placement controller        *
*                      fails to remove a node.                 *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
When the application placement controller determines that a
node should be removed, the removal sometimes fails on IBM
Workload Deployer and IBM PureApplication System.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The application placement controller code that issues the
command for IBM Workload Deployer and IBM PureApplication
System to remove a node was updated to include the force
option to ensure that the node is always deleted.
