  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  This APAR contains the following fixes in the Application
  Placement  Controller (APC) feature of WebSphere Intelligent
  Management on IWD:
  - Fixes problem where too many adds and removes of servers
  occur on point cell, with steady load to both center and point
  cells.
  -  With this fix, APC no longer adds node to dynamic cluster
  nodegroup as part of elasticity additions. With this fix the
  logic for adding a node to the nodegroup of the dynamic cluster
  is removed from APC. APC will rely solely on IWD because it's
  the responsibility of IWD to ensure that the cloned node has
  the same nodegroup memberships as the original node.
  

Problem conclusion

• Both problems are now corrected.
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  8.5.5.0.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
